Breaking Dawn, or breaking wind?

Seriously. That was just about the worst book I ever read. Talk about drivel. I hope no one reading this is offended, but I am telling you what I believe to be true.

First of all, if anyone thought that the earlier books were a bit suggestive, then check out this one!!!

Second of all--I don't even know where to begin. It was a waste of time that I was determined to read. I'm ashamed of myself.

  2. Breaking Wind--hahaha! I'm so happy everyone gets to live forever in their state of lust and eternal damnation. And how convenient for Jacob--or not. Is he immortal? I guess she could've just written that in as well, since all of the sudden a half-vampire grows to adulthood and then stops. Otherwise, he'd be an old man by the time she's old enough.

  3. I mean, before she's old enough to do any of the things that fan fiction writers are doubtlessly going haywire over.

  4. Apparently werewolves don't really age until they decide not to be wolves any more. In their legends, there was someone who stayed a wolf for way longer than the normal lifespan. Also, the kid is supposed to reach maturity in like 7 years. Convenient.

Thanks for rubbing in my stupidity, G. My only defense is to say that I like to finish what I start.

  5. Ahhhh. I see now. But I doubt if Stephenie made any provision for emotional maturity along with the physical. That hasn't seemed to be her highest priority in character development--after all, she did pen Bella Swan.

  6. Heh...I gave up after the first one...which I guess is pretty bad considering how quickly I gave up on an equally disgustingly stupid series. *cough* Eragon *cough*
